Our vision

Empowering pentesters to automate, digitize, and deliver more

The world around us is digitizing, automating, and getting smarter. Meanwhile, pentests are much the same as they were 2 decades ago. Processes are manual, reporting is manual, and, dare we say, email? While cybersecurity threats are increasing, end-customers are moving to digital scanners that deliver simple results. At the same time, we know pentesters are the key to quality pentesting.

Customers are increasingly demanding a level of service and digitization that’s not feasible for most pentesters on their own. Pentesters need a way to make deliverables accessible, collaborative, & user friendly. That’s why we developed Cyver Core, a digital pentest management platform, delivering pentest-as-a-service in the cloud. So you have the tools to succeed in our changing industry.

From the founders

Building next-generation pentest management

Working with pentest firms often isn’t great. Sorry. Over the last 10 years, I’ve learned firsthand that slow, manual workflows, email, & outdated PDF deliverables are the norm. And I know you hate it as much as I do. Modern pentesters do high quality work, but with delivery stuck in the 00s, the customer experience leaves much to be desired.

As long-term tech CTO, I work with pentesters constantly. The industry is falling behind, even as rising cybersecurity threats make pentesting more necessary than ever. Organizations are moving to digital scanners for convenience and modern solutions. Yet, I firmly believe that human innovation is the driving factor behind cybersecurity. To keep up, we need to digitize.

That’s why I built Cyver Core. A platform that operates as a digital layer between pentesters and the customer. It offers automation, project management, and communication tools, while digitizing findings, reports, and communication. It doesn’t change how pentesters work but how they deliver work, while automating the non-technical tasks everyone hates doing anyway.

From the founders

Delivering a better pentest experience

I’ve been pentesting for over 20 years. In 2010, I launched my first pentest company, Counterhack. Since then, I’ve worked with industries ranging from Fortune 500 finance to SaaS startups. And, most importantly, I’ve watched the industry change. Today, threats are escalating at a rapid rate. Internet of Things, rapid development cycles, and software create and exacerbate risks. It’s harder than ever to stay secure. That’s evident in that 50% of businesses eventually experience a breach. And, that’s unacceptable.

That’s why I pentest. Yet, I know firsthand that pentest reports aren’t driving the kind of remediation and security we’d like. That’s fair. That’s why my pentest team shifted our approach. We deliver results through Cyver Core, a pentest-as-a-service platform. We connect with clients to deliver cybersecurity consultation, helping you find vulnerabilities and fix them before they become a problem.

The future of pentesting is more than just a report. It’s ongoing, collaborative, pentesting built around remediation. And, my team is ready.
